Excellent Fan Oct 03, 2008
This is a very powerful and very quiet fan. We use it on low in the bedroom. We bring it outdoors and use it on high. We liked it so much we bought a second one.

This is a great fan. Almost as strong as an air conditioner. I highly recommend it.

 Not really fit for small apartment Aug 13, 2008
While it is true that this fan moves alot of air, the noise coming from it is rather noticeable in a small apartment.
It might be true that this one unit moves just as much air as two regular tower fan, one can probably find two tower fans that cost about the same is this one.

I really like the Lasko fan. It didn't look like much from the picture, but it is perfect for us and our living room. It matches well and is not in the way or real big but quite sturdy. The cooling effect is great. It has a nice breeze but not too much. I do wish it was a little quieter, but it is a lot quieter than some I have had. It came quickly and was a good purchase!
