 Works great - yes on a mac Jan 06, 2009
I hooked this to my imac running Leopard and it works just fine.... The pc and mac version of the pedit seemed the same to me . The pc software has an address book program that the mac does not get.... I just use pedit to make the label and save it... It would have been nice to have address book for mac with auto posnet ... maybe next version , hey brother.
But overall I like the printer and the pedit software , the postnet bar codes were fine I dont know what other reviewers were barking about but it makes a full zip+4 postnet barcode that you can add to your label.
The paper supplies are affordable which was the major reason I chose brother over dymo

I got this label printer for my husband. Every time he would address an envelope using the computer, he would mess it up. He could go through 10 envelopes just trying to print 2! This label printer helps him get nice looking addressed envelopes, plus saves a few trees a year. He's not too computer literate, but he is able to use this without a problem. We're really happy with it.
Great Printer for Mac OS 10.5 or Windows XP Jan 04, 2009
Love this label maker. The software is actually better on the Windows side, but the Mac OSX 10.5 works okay. Not sure why the other rater had such a problem with their OSX 10.5. I just downloaded the latest drivers with no problem. The best thing about the Mac side is that you can use other programs such as Pages or FileMaker Pro, etc. to make any kind of label you want. No need to limit yourself to their lousy software. I must admit I'm a bit of a geek, but honestly this was so easy to set up and install. Great product!

This device has simplified the task of addressing envelopes and packages. As a bonus, it makes labels and luggage tags. Get one. You will wonder how you lived without it.
