More Power – In 1988 Chrysler threatened and/or sued those using the name MOPAR or Chrysler including all the magazines, clubs, parts businesses, etc. At Chrysler Power it was decided that perhaps a renaming would create a bit of a stir so “The Best of” the first six years was assembled for the April ’89 inaugural issue of More Power.

The August and October issues were used to launch MOPAR Collectors Guide into the newsstand market. These were the only three issues of More Power ever published and are considered of great interest and value today.

The First Issue…It had long been a dream of the NHOA and MOPAR Muscle founding fathers to see an ints clear that the time was ripe A core group including Winged Warriors, NHOA, MMC and the Chrysler Car Club Council all rallied to produce the January ’84 issue which was distributed first at the NHRA ’83 World Finals in Pomona, Oct 29-31. If you were ever the least bit cuernationally distributed all MOPAR newsstand magazine. By the end of the ’83 MOPAR Nats, it warious about how the MOPAR movement of today had its beginnings, Chrysler Power will take you there. Jan ’84- ’68 GTS HEMI Convertible, Rear ends – Independents vs Banjos, MOPAR Foldouts, Combination Codes and MOPAR National Coverage, Shelby Tech Tips.
